November Thankfulness

November 1st--I am thankful for my job, and the fact that I get holy days off.

It really is nice to have sporadic days throughout the year to reflect and enjoy my family!

Lent + dinner = Fish? Not always.

This year, we are NOT having fish sandwiches or tuna casserole every week on Friday. I'm going to bust out the vegetarian section of the cookbook and we're going to try NEW things.
Okay, except not tomorrow. Tomorrow I really want a fish sandwich. But I have four more weeks of meat free Fridays to go, and I'll try to post recipes for whatever I come up with.

Also, this no coffee for lent thing is REALLY hard. I have no clue how I did it when I was pregnant!

Workin' on it

Blogging has been tough for me because of lack of time/energy/accessibility (and for a surplus of excuses!)

BUT! I have a new phone that is going to make it easier to blog whenever/wherever I have a little time, so no more (okay, fewer) excuses!

Update

Having a big baby is keeping me BUSY. I don't have any new crafts to post, I don't have any fun things about trips to say. What I can do is list all the amazing things I can think of about Charley:

-Can crawl
-Has started pulling up to stand
-Knows when bedtime is and doesn't fight us
 -Looks adorbs in her little Nike's
-Doesn't fit well in many clothes, because she's 10 months old but only 18 pounds
-LOVES meatloaf
-Eats whatever we eat for dinner
-Can wave "hi" and "bye"
-Loves her daddy
-Flirts with guys
-Is super excited about Halloween (okay, that's just Mommy)
-Is having a Tea Party (as in, "lets have a" not "the political party") Birthday.
-Loves to be held upside down
-Has the most amazing laugh
